We currently have 7 females with 3 Cria at foot

Alpaca's are receptive all year round, this means that they can become pregnant at any time. They are usually pregnant for 11-12 months and only carry one Cria. Twins in alpacas are very rare and very dangerous. Our alpacas are Huacaya alpacas and in total we have 8 females and 2 little boys. The Cria usually nurse for 10 months and become independent around 12-18 months.
